RIB LAKE – The Athens boys basketball team knocked down 11 3-pointers and rolled to a 69-37 win over Rib Lake in a Marawood Conference North Division game Tuesday night at Rib Lake High School.
Cooper Diedrich had three 3-pointers and scored a team-high 24 points, and Kody Lepak was 4-for-5 from 3-point range and finished with 16 points for Athens, which is now 14-4 overall and 8-4 in the Marawood North.
Connor Sheahan added 13 points, and Aiden Janke had nine points and 19 rebounds in the win for the Bluejays.
Athens plays a Marawood Conference crossover game at Wisconsin Rapids Assumption on Friday. The game will be broadcast live at zaleskisports.com.
