ADAMS-FRIENDSHIP RALLIES IN SEVENTH TO DEFEAT ABBOTSFORD/COLBY BASEBALL

ADAMS – Dylan Parr singled home the winning run in the bottom of the seventh inning as Adams-Friendship edged Abbotsford/Colby 2-1 in a nonconference baseball game Monday.
Abbotsford/Colby led 1-0 after Cade Faber singled and scored on an error.
The game remained 1-0 until the Green Devils (11-2) finally got to Abby/Colby pitcher Brandon Diedrich in the bottom of the seventh.
Klaus singled, stole second and third, then came home to tie the game on a double steal. Parr delivered the game-winning hit against Falcons’ reliever Marco Olvera to end the game.
Diedrich allowed three hits and three walks, striking out five for Abby/Colby.
Abbotsford/Colby (9-4) will play Chequamegon in a Marawood Conference North Division series this week, Tuesday at Chequamegon and Thursday at home.
