WISCONSIN RAPIDS WRESTLING WINS FOUR INDIVIDUAL TITLES, TEAM CHAMPIONSHIP AT WEST ALLIS CENTRAL

WEST ALLIS – Wisconsin Rapids won four individual titles and had nine top-three finishes in all as it went on to win the E.H. Stech Wrestling Invitational on Saturday at West Allis Central High School.


Aiden Armagost won the title at 113 pounds for Wisconsin Rapids, pinning Ryan Gillis of New Berlin in 3:14 to move to 7-0 this season.


Preston Spray is also 7-0 this year after winning the 120-pound title for the Raiders, defeating Ray LeMieux of Coleman 10-2.


Brett Back defeated Zach Eliszewski of Mukwonago 14-9 to claim the 160-pound title for the Raiders as he improves to 8-0.


Ashton Fischer earned the final individual title for Rapids, beating Dane Krimpelbein of Mukwonago 11-3 in the 195-pound championship match. Fischer is now 6-0.


Carter Freeman (126) and Bennett Weidman (152) both finished second, and Landyn Freeman (106), Kailar Tritz (170) and Josh Hanson (285) all took third for Wisconsin Rapids.
