MERRILL – Ryan Sering had a two-run home run and finished with three hits and four RBI to lead the Wisconsin Rapids Post 9 Rangers Legion baseball team to an 11-2 win over Merrill on Wednesday at Athletic Park.

Cole Ladick had three hits and two RBI, Caden Sengbusch had a pair of doubles and drove in three, and Carson Gunderson had two hits and scored three times for the Rangers, who are now 9-3 overall and 5-2 in the Wisconsin Valley Legion League.

Eli Hahn threw six strong innings for Wisconsin Rapids, allowing two runs on four hits with seven strikeouts.

Wisconsin Rapids will play at Wausau on Thursday.
