WISCONSIN RAPIDS GIRLS TENNIS LOSES TWICE AT HOME TOURNAMENT

WISCONSIN RAPIDS – The Wisconsin Rapids girls tennis team dropped a pair of matches at its home tournament on Saturday at Lincoln High School.

The Raiders lost to Lakeland 5-2 and River Falls 7-0.

Earning wins for Wisconsin Rapids in the loss to Lakeland were Jenna Wentland at No. 2 singles and the No. 1 doubles team of Teagann Bondioli and Abbey Gurst, both winning in straight sets.

Wisconsin Rapids will host Wausau East in a Wisconsin Valley Conference match on Tuesday at 4 p.m.
