PORT EDWARDS – Laney Havlovitz scored 26 points to lead the Wild Rose girls basketball team to its 11-straight win, a 59-17 victory over Port Edwards in a Central Wisconsin Conference South Division matchup Friday night at John Edwards High School.


Wild Rose improves to 13-1 overall and remains undefeated in the CWC South at 7-0 and tied with Stevens Point Pacelli for first place in the standings. The two teams meet on Monday at Wild Rose at 6:30 p.m. The game will be live-streamed at zaleskisports.com.


Orria Wood added 16 points for the Wildcats.


Taylor Martin scored 10 points for Port Edwards. In the loss, Martin surpassed the 1,000-point and 500-rebound marks for her career.


Port Edwards is off until Tuesday when it plays a nonconference game at Bowler.
