WILD ROSE GIRLS BASKETBALL DOMINATES PORT EDWARDS

WILD ROSE – Wild Rose held Port Edwards to just seven made baskets and cruised to its third-straight win, a 57-21 victory in Central Wisconsin Conference South Division girls basketball action Tuesday at Wild Rose High School.
Laney Havlovitz scored 20 points, and Orria Wood and Cali Havlovitz each chipped in 14 points for Wild Rose, which is now 5-1 overall and 2-0 in the CWC South.
Wild Rose rushed out to a 24-12 lead by halftime and held the Blackhakws (0-7, 0-3 CWC South) to only nine points in the second half to finish off the victory.
Alliyah Ruiz had nine points to lead Port Edwards.
Wild Rose travels to Rosholt for a CWC South game on Friday. Port Edwards will be off until Saturday when it plays a nonconference game at Tigerton.
