JACKSON – Ethan Tratz ran for 214 yards and four touchdowns as the Wild Rose football team defeated Living Word Lutheran 41-22 on Saturday afternoon.
Tratz had a 15-yard touchdown run in the first quarter, and added TD runs of 3 and 36 yards in the second quarter. Brett Mueller added a 5-yard touchdown run as the Wildcats built a 27-6 lead by halftime.
Quarterback Brett Wilbert threw a 9-yard touchdown pass to Mueller, and Tratz had another score, from 47 yards out, as the Wildcats put the game away in the fourth quarter.
Jonah Williams added 57 yards on the ground for Wild Rose (1-1).
Wild Rose opens its Central Wisconsin Conference Small Division schedule Friday at Wisconsin Rapids Assumption at 7 p.m.
