STEVENS POINT – The Stevens Point girls basketball team dropped a 58-45 decision to Verona at the Sentry Classic on Wednesday at the University of Wisconsin-Stevens Point.

Zoe Finke made four 3-pointers and scored 18 points to lead Stevens Point, which drops to 3-8 this season with its second loss at the tournament.

Verona improves to 7-3.

Stevens Point hosts Chippewa Falls for a nonconference game Tuesday.
