STRATFORD NAMES NEW ATHLETIC DIRECTOR

SPORTSDESK - Stratford (WI) High School named new Athletic Director, Travis Grubbs, effective August 1, 2019. We had a chance to sit down with Mr. Grubbs on day one to find out more about his history in education and athletics.

Grubbs, originally from North Carolina, also spent time in Chicago and Cadott, WI on his way to Stratford. He walks into an almost perfect world scenario at Stratford in 2019 as the previous school year saw football, volleyball, wrestling and baseball all in a state championship game. Baseball capped off the dream school year with a Division Three state title with a 9-4 victory over Markesan (highlight here: www.facebook.com/watch/?v=880692105663010)
