SHULLSBURG – The Stratford girls basketball team overcame an eight-point halftime deficit to defeat Shullsburg 41-34 in a semifinal of the Shullsburg Invitational on Wednesday.

The Tigers trailed 24-16 at halftime before rallying with a dominant second half, outscoring Shullsburg 25-10.

Stratford (6-4) will play for the tournament title against undefeated Bangor (9-0) at 7:45 p.m. Thursday. Bangor is ranked fourth in Division 5 in the latest state coaches poll.
