STEVENS POINT GIRLS SWIMMING FINISHES WVC SEASON UNDEFEATED WITH WIN AT WISCONSIN RAPIDS

WISCONSIN RAPIDS – Stevens Point finished off an undefeated Wisconsin Valley Conference regular season with a 134-36 win over Wisconsin Rapids on Thursday at Lincoln High School.

Stevens Point finishes a perfect 6-0 in WVC duals, while Wisconsin Rapids ends up 0-6.

Jenna Breitbach won the 200-yard freestyle (2:07.11) and the 50 freestyle (26.35 seconds), Jocelyn Trzebiatowski was first in the 200 individual medley (2:25.85) and the 100 butterfly (1:06.66), Sophie Johnston won the 100 freestyle (58.05) and the 100 breaststroke (1:13.31), Brooke Swiecki was first in the 500 freestyle (5:48.87), and Eloise Cooper won the 100 backstroke (1:02.90) for Stevens Point, which also won all three relay races.

Marci Feidt had Wisconsin Rapids’ top finish, taking second in the 100 breaststroke in 1:22.05.

Wisconsin Rapids will host the Wisconsin Valley Conference Meet on Thursday, Oct. 28.
