STANLEY-BOYD BOYS, WITTENBERG-BIRNAMWOOD GIRLS WIN TEAM TITLES AT MEDFORD TRACK INVITE

MEDFORD – Stanley-Boyd won the boys team title and Wittenberg-Birnawood took first place in the girls standings at the Medford Track Invitational on Tuesday at Medford High School.

The Auburndale boys finished fifth and the girls were sixth, and the Stratford boys were sixth and girls seventh.

Drey Drexler won the boys discus (127 feet, 10 inches) and the shot put (44-6), and was third in the 100 meters (12.50 seconds) to lead the Stratford boys.

Stratford also won the boys 3,200 relay in 9:03.66.

The Auburndale boys won three events. Terrance Cottrell-Roberson won the 100 meters in 11.54 seconds, and teamed with Parker Empey, Austin Quinlan and Gavin White Eagle to win the 800 relay (1:35.52) and the 400 relay (45.81).

Reese Rogowski won four events to lead the Witt-Birn girls to the team title.

Rogowski won the long jump (15-11.25), the 400 (59.27), the 100 (12.93) and the 200 (26.43) for the Chargers.

The Auburndale girls earned one win as the team of Jordyn Karl, Erricka Zenner, Victoria Hasenohrl and Lily Kloos won the 3,200-meter relay in 10:23.46.

Alexis Folz was second in the shot put (29-1.5) and third in the discus (83-6), and Jaidyn Wright took third in the triple jump (32-3.25) and fourth in the long jump (15-1.5) for the Stratford girls.

Stratford and Auburndale will compete at the Marawood Conference Meet at Marathon on Monday.
