SPASH GIRLS TENNIS EDGES OUT LA CROSSE CENTRAL

STEVENS POINT – The Stevens Point girls tennis team earned a hard-fought 4-3 win over La Crosse Central in a nonconference dual Monday at Stevens Point Area Senior High.
Jessica Kleman at No. 1 singles and Annika Borgnes at No. 2 singles earned straight-set wins for the Panthers.
SPASH also won two doubles matches in straight sets as the No. 1 team of Abby Erwin and Tatum Thielman, and the No. 2 team of Caroline Blakeman and Berit Borgnes were victorious.
Stevens Point will be at home again Tuesday for a Wisconsin Valley Conference match against Wausau West.
