STEVENS POINT – Stevens Point quarterback Riley Warzynski tied a school record with five touchdown passes, and added another on the ground – all in the first half – as the Panthers rolled to a storm-shortened 43-0 win over Superior in a nonconference football game Friday at Goerke Field.

The Panthers led 43-0 with the game was called due to heavy rain and lightning with 10:59 remaining in the third quarter.

Warzynski was 13-for-17 for 262 yards and five scores, four in the first quarter. The five TDs ties the school record set by Pete Clark in 1987.

Warzynski had touchdown passes of 52 yards to Tommy Drohner, 38 yards to Quinton Martin, 17 yards to Danny Zdroik, and 19 yards to Peyton Pumper in the first quarter. After running for a 37-yard touchdown, Warzynski threw a 47-yard score to Martin in the second quarter.
