SPASH DOUBLES TEAM ELIMINATED AT WIAA STATE INDIVIDUAL BOYS TENNIS TOURNAMENT

MADISON – Stevens Point Area Senior High’s No. 1 doubles team of Luke Hinchcliffe and Noah Hlavac were eliminated on Day 2 of the 2022 WIAA State Individual Boys Tennis Tournament on Friday at the Nieslen Tennis Stadium on the University of Wisconsin campus.

Hinchcliffe and Hlavac, seed 13th, won their second-round match over Josh Bradley and Riley Sass of Verona, 6-1, 6-0, before losing in the third round to No. 4 seed Jacob Baldwin and Nikko Vilwock of Sun Prairie, 6-1, 6-2.

The SPASH duo finishes the season with 19-2 record.

The tournament concludes Saturday.
