PRENTICE – Prentice lost the first set before rallying for a 3-1 win over Athens in a Marawood Conference North Division volleyball match Tuesday at Prentice High School.

Prentice won 16-25, 25-23, 28-26, 25-22, to improve to 2-0 in the Marawood North. Athens is now 2-2 in conference play.

Jazelle Hartwig had 16 kills and 16 assists, Addison Lavicka had 12 kills and 21 assists, Sophia Coker had 11 kills, and Savannah Epping had 45 digs for Athens in the loss.

Prentice plays at Abbotsford in a conference match Thursday. Athens is off until Saturday’s Marawood Conference Crossover Challenge at Abbotsford. Prentice will compete at the Marawood crossover meet at Edgar.
