PLAINFIELD – The Pittsville girls basketball team improved to 4-1 this season with a 59-28 victory over Tri-County in a Central Wisconsin Conference South Division matchup Thursday at Tri-County High School.

Reece Grimm had 14 points, nine steals and four assists to lead the way for the Panthers, who are now 2-0 in the CWC South.

Brynn Friday added 15 points and eight rebounds, and Natasha Lovieski chipped in 14 points for Pittsville.

Tri-County falls to 0-6 and 0-1 in the CWC South.

Pittsville hosts Rib Lake for a nonconference game Tuesday.
