PITTSVILLE – The Pittsville boys basketball team jumped on Tri-County early and cruised to an 80-28 win to earn its first Central Wisconsin Conference South Division victory of the season on Thursday at Pittsville High School.


Pittsville rolled out to a 43-10 lead by halftime as it blew out the Penguins and improved to 3-7 overall and 1-3 in conference play.


Samuel Bowden scored 24 points and Marcus Getsinger added 15 points for the Panthers.


The two teams will meet again Friday at Tri-County.
