PACELLI GIRLS BASKETBALL CRUSHES TRI-COUNTY

STEVENS POINT – The Stevens Point Pacelli girls basketball team held Tri-County to one made basket in the first half and went on to rout Tri-County 67-19 in a Central Wisconsin Conference South Division matchup Tuesday at Pacelli High School.


The Cardinals ran out to a 36-2 lead by halftime to make quick work of Tri-County and run their record to a perfect 5-0 overall and 3-0 in the CWC South.


Novalee Schober scored 16 points, and Casey Vaughan and Amelia Jacoby each added 14 for Pacelli.


Both teams hit the road for CWC South games on Friday. Tri-County will be at Almond-Bancroft and Pacelli will play at Pittsville. The Pacelli game will be live-streamed at zaleskisports.com.
