IOLA – The Stevens Point Pacelli rushing attack has been unstoppable all season, but it has usually been senior running back Brycen Cashin carrying the load.

The Cardinals were just as efficient on the ground as usual on Friday night at Iola-Scandinavia, only this week the running game was more spread out as three players gained more than 100 yards and Pacelli earned a 29-12 win.

Pacelli is now 6-0 overall and 4-0 in the Central Wisconsin Conference Small Division, while Iola-Scandinavia falls to 4-3 and 3-1 in the conference.

Cashin carried 20 times for 147 yards, quarterback Drew Kedrowicz added 115 yards on 11 carries, and Nick Schroeder had 113 yards on 10 totes, and all three scored long touchdowns in the win for the Cardinals.

Schroeder had an 80-yard touchdown run in the first quarter, and Kedrowicz ran 75 yards and Cashin 67 for scores in the second as the Cardinals built a 21-0 halftime lead.

Brock Birrenkott added an 18-yard touchdown run in the fourth quarter as Pacelli finished with 419 rushing yards in all.

Pacelli hosts Loyal on Friday, Oct. 8, at Goerke Field. The game will live at zaleskisports.com. Iola-Scandinavia will host Rosholt on Oct. 8.
