PACELLI BOYS BASKETBALL PULLS PAST CRANDON

STEVENS POINT – The Stevens Point Pacelli boys basketball team broke open a tight game with a dominant second half and defeated Crandon 63-42 in a nonconference matchup Friday night at Pacelli High School.


Pacelli led 28-23 at halftime before outscoring Crandon by 16 in the second half to pull away and run its record to 9-10 this season.


Seven different players hit 3-pointers for Pacelli.


Jaydon Awe led Pacelli with 14 points and Camden Schurk added 12 in the victory.


Pacelli plays a nonconference game at Menominee Indian in Keshena on Tuesday.
