OWEN-WITHEE GIRLS BASKETBALL PULLS AWAY IN SECOND HALF TO BEAT GREENWOOD

GREENWOOD – Reina Arndt scored 18 points to lead the Owen-Withee girls basketball team to a 48-27 win over Greenwood in Cloverbelt Conference East Division action Friday night at Greenwood High School.
Owen-Withee used a dominant second half, outscoring Greenwood 23-7, to pull way for the victory.
The Blackhawks are now 5-17 overall and 4-11 in the Cloverbelt East, while Greenwood falls to 4-17 and 3-12 in the conference.
Greenwood was held to nine made baskets in the game. Kia Abel led the Indians with seven points.
Both teams wrap up their Cloverbelt East schedules Monday. Greenwood will be at Gilman and Owen-Withee hosts Loyal.
