STANLEY - The Neillsville Warriors softball team pounded Stanley-Boyd pitching for 20 hits on its way to a convincing 17-3 win on Monday night. The win moves the Warriors Cloverbelt East conference record to 5-1, a half game behind

Emma Mosely led the way, reaching base safely each of her five at-bats while driving in two runs and scoring five times. Terren Stockheimer was an RBI machine, accounting for eight RBI on four hits including three doubles, and scored twice. Bella Opelt had three hits in four plate appearances with three runs scored and a run batted in.
Stockheimer and Delaney Rochester shared duties from the circle, each striking out three Orioles batters.

Next up for Neillsville (8-3) is a home game against Cadott with first pitch scheduled for 5pm at Neillsville high school.
