NEILLSVILLE GIRLS BASKETBALL ROUTS GRANTON TO REMAIN UNBEATEN IN CLOVERBELT EAST

GRANTON – The Neillsville girls basketball team used a balanced scoring attack to dismantle Granton 70-11 in a Cloverbelt Conference East Division matchup Thursday at Granton High School.


Amelia Trunkel had 11 points and Abby Koepp added 10 for Neillsville, which improves to 9-1 overall and remains undefeated in the Cloverbelt East at 7-0.


Neillsville hosts Alma Center Lincoln for a nonconference game Saturday before hosting Marshfield Columbus Catholic in Cloverbelt East action Tuesday.


Granton (0-8, 0-6 Cloverbelt East) is off until Tuesday when it is at home against Colby in a conference game.
