NEILLSVILLE GIRLS BASKETBALL ROUTS COLBY

COLBY – Emma Moseley scored 19 points and Delaney Rochester added 11 as the Neillsville girls basketball team remained undefeated this season with a 58-24 Cloverbelt Conference East Division victory over Colby on Thursday at Colby High School.


Neillsville (6-0, 5-0 Cloverbelt East) rolled out to a 30-8 at halftime and held the Hornets to just eight made baskets in the win.


The Warriors were 17-for-23 at the free throw line, with Moseley making 7 of 8.


Alexis Vanderhoof had 11 points for Colby (1-6, 1-4 Cloverbelt East).


Colby plays a nonconference games Monday at Marathon and Tuesday at home against Stratford. Neillsville will be back in action for a Cloverbelt East game at home against Spencer on Tuesday in a battle of the last two remaining undefeated teams in the conference.
