NEILLSVILLE GIRLS BASKETBALL REMAINS UNBEATEN IN CLOVERBELT EAST WITH WINS OVER SPENCER, GREENWOOD

NEILLSVILLE – Bella Opelt scored 15 points to lead the Cloverbelt Conference East Division champion Neillsville girls basketball team to a dominating 55-19 win over Spencer on Monday night at Neillsville High School.


Neillsville raced out to a 33-11 lead by halftime and finished off the win by holding Spencer (8-7, 4-6 Cloverbelt East) to just eight points in the second half.


Paris Opelt and Jaden Barth each added eight points for Neillsville.


On Tuesday, Neillsville ripped Greenwood 79-32 to improve to 18-1 overall and 14-0 in conference play. The Warriors will wrap up their regular-season schedule with games at Arcadia on Thursday and Granton on Friday.
