NEENAH BASEBALL THROWS ONE-HITTER IN WIN OVER HORTONVILLE

HORTONVILLE – The Hortonville Polar Bears could only muster up one hit in a 1-0 loss to Neenah on Monday afternoon in Fox Valley Conference baseball action.


Neenah scored its only run in the top of the second inning on a single from Evan Paque to center field off Polar Bears pitcher Sam Dodd.


Dodd took the loss, throwing 4 innings, giving up five hits and striking out seven.


Jaden Carstins got the win for the Rockets, going 5 2/3 innings only allowing one hit and struck out 11 Polar Bears batters. Matthew Stuczynski came in and earned the save for Neenah.
