MOSINEE GIRLS BASKETBALL TROUNCES NORTHLAND PINES

MOSINEE – The Mosinee girls basketball team put up 50 points in the first half and made quick work of Northland Pines, rolling to an 81-39 win in Great Northern Conference action Monday at Mosinee High School.


Kate Fitzgerald poured in 23 points for Mosinee in the win as 12 different players scored.


Hailey Shnowske added 10 points and Lexi Freiboth scored eight for Mosinee, which remains undefeated this season at 17-0 overall and 8-0 in the GNC.


Aubrey Beyer scored eight to lead Northland Pines (4-11, 2-5 GNC).


Mosinee plays at Tomahawk for a conference game on Friday at 6:30 p.m.
