MOSINEE GIRLS BASKETBALL REMAINS UNBEATEN WITH GNC WIN AT LAKELAND

MINOCQUA – Kate Fitzgerald scored 15 points to lift the Mosinee girls basketball team to a 54-42 win over Lakeland in the Great Northern Conference opener for both teams on Tuesday at Lakeland High School.
Mosinee led 28-27 at halftime before pulling away in the second half, limiting Lakeland (1-3 overall) to just 15 points.
Lexi Freiboth added 11 points for Mosinee, which remains perfect at 5-0 this season.
The Great Northern Conference season continues for both teams on Friday night at Mosinee hosts Antigo and Lakeland travels to Medford. Mosinee’s game will be live-streamed at zaleskisports.com.
