MOSINEE GIRLS BASKETBALL PUMMELS CRANDON, IMPROVES TO 13-0

MOSINEE – The Mosinee girls basketball team remains perfect this season after crushing Crandon 64-19 in a nonconference game Thursday at Mosinee High School.


The Indians led by 18 points at halftime and held Crandon (4-7) to just four points in the second half to cruise to the victory and improve to 13-0 this season.


Lexi Freiboth had 17 points, and Kate Fitzgerald and Hailey Shnowske each added 15 for Mosinee.


Mosinee returns to Great Northern Conference action Tuesday at Medford.
