MOSINEE GIRLS BASKETBALL MAKES 10 3-POINTERS, ROLLS PAST ANTIGO

MOSINEE – Hailey Shnowske made five of Mosinee’s 10 3-pointers and scored a game-high 15 points to lead the Indians to a 65-23 whitewashing of Antigo in a Great Northern Conference girls basketball game Friday night at Mosinee High School.


Kate Fitzgerald scored all 13 of her points in the first half, and Shnowske added 12 on four 3-pointers, as Mosinee (6-0 overall, 2-0 Great Northern Conference) rolled out to a 38-13 lead by halftime.


Adalyn Lehman added 11 points for Mosinee.


Antigo (1-5, 1-1 GNC) was held to 11 made baskets, with Sophie Schlieve leading the team with eight points.


Mosinee will enjoy a week off before hosting Tomahawk for a GNC game next Friday, Dec. 10.
