MOSINEE GIRLS BASKETBALL BLITZES TOMAHAWK

TOMAHAWK – The Mosinee girls basketball team took a 17-point lead into halftime and went on to a dominant 66-19 win over Tomahawk in a Great Northern Conference game Friday night at Tomahawk High School.
Mosinee led 37-10 at halftime and held Tomahawk to nine points in the second half to finish off the victory.
The Indians are now 18-0 overall and 9-0 in the Great Northern Conference, while Tomahawk drops to 4-12 and 0-9 in the conference.
Kate Fitzgerald had 18 points and Adalyn Lehman added 16 in the victory for Mosinee.
Mosinee plays a nonconference game at Amherst on Tuesday. The game starts at 7:30 p.m. and will be broadcast live at zaleskisports.com.
