SHAWANO – The Mosinee girls basketball team dominated from the opening tip and rolled to its third-straight win to start the season, blowing out Shawano 72-28 in a nonconference game at Shawano High School on Monday night.
Mosinee led 45-6 by halftime to make quick work of the Hawks (1-1).
Jenna Placek had 15 points, Lexi Freiboth added 14 and Adalyn Lehman 10 for Mosinee (3-0).
Mosinee will host D.C. Everest for a nonconference game Tuesday.
