MOSINEE – The Mosinee boys hockey team scored early and often as it rolled to a 9-2 win over Tomahawk in the first round of the Great Northern Conference tournament on Tuesday at the Mosinee Ice Arena.
Carter Daul scored four times, and Caden Schmirler had a goal and four assists for Mosinee, which is now 13-8 overall and 6-2 in the Great Northern Conference.
Ondrej Napravnik had two goals and two assists, and Tanner Fjedsted and Ethan Oatman each added goals for the Indians.
Mosinee hosts Madison Memorial for a nonconference game Saturday at 6 p.m.
