MOSINEE – Ondrej Napravnik scored five times, including three goals in the first period, as the Mosinee boys hockey team crushed DeForest 10-2 in a nonconference game Tuesday at the Mosinee Rec Center.
Caden Schmirler added two goals and two assists for the Indians, who are now 6-3 this season.
Napravnik’s first-period hat trick helped Mosinee build a 5-1 lead. He added another goal just 19 seconds into the second period as the Indians scored three times in the first 2:02 of the period to make it a rout early.
Mosinee returns to action next Tuesday, Dec. 28, at Rice Lake.
