MENOMINEE INDIAN RALLIES TO DEFEAT PACELLI BOYS BASKETBALL

KESHENA – Menominee Indian overcame a slight halftime deficit to defeat Stevens Point Pacelli 67-60 in a nonconference boys basketball game Tuesday at Menominee Indian High School.


Pacelli led 28-25 at halftime but were outscored by 10 in the second half in the loss to the Eagles (9-9).


Jaydon Awe and Camden Schurk each had 12 points for the Cardinals, who fall to 9-11 this season.


Pacelli hosts Almond-Bancroft in a Central Wisconsin Conference game Thursday at 7:15 p.m. Almond-Bancroft is 9-1 and Pacelli stands at 7-1 in the conference title chase. The game will be broadcast live at zaleskisports.com.
