STEVENS POINT – Menominee Indian made 12 3-pointers and used a 17-point second-half advantage to defeat Stevens Point Pacelli 56-41 in a nonconference girls basketball game Tuesday at Pacelli High School.
Ayanna Smith had four 3-pointers and 18 points, and Mariah Fish added four more 3s to finish with 14 points for the Eagles (11-10).
Pacelli led 20-18 at halftime before Menominee Indian rallied, outscoring the Cardinals 38-21 in the second half.
Amelia Jacoby had 13 points to lead Pacelli (13-9).
Wild Rose will play at Stevens Point Pacelli on Thursday in its Central Wisconsin Conference South Division and regular-season finale. Wild Rose would clinch the outright conference title with a win, while Pacelli could tie the Wildcats for a share of the championship with a victory.
