MARSHFIELD VOLLEYBALL EVENS WVC RECORD WITH ROAD WIN AT D.C. EVEREST
WESTON – The Marshfield volleyball team earned a 3-0 sweep over D.C. Everest on Thursday night at D.C. Everest High School.
The Tigers won 25-23, 25-19, 25-12, to even their Wisconsin Valley Conference record at 4-4. Everest falls to 2-6.
Kaydee Johnson and Kati Sadowska each had 19 digs to lead the Marshfield defense.
Offensively, Brooklyn Boushack had a team-high 12 kills, Taylor Barwick had 18 assists, and Bailey Matis had 12 assists for Marshfield.
Alani Carter added 11 kills and Lindsey Steffen had eight kills as well for the Tigers.
Marshfield will compete in the second Wisconsin Valley Conference meet of the season on Saturday at Wausau East, playing three matches. The Tigers finish their WVC and regular-season schedule Oct. 17 at home against Wausau West.
