STEVENS POINT – The Marshfield varsity and JV teams both rolled to titles at the Stevens Point True Team Girls Track Meet on Friday at Goerke Field.

The Marshfield varsity won five events and finished with 818 points, well ahead of second-place D.C. Everest (703) and third-place Stevens Point (695.5).

Earning victories for Marshfield were Aubri Brown in the discus (120 feet, 1 inches) and the shot put (37-0), Sophie Nikolay in the pole vault (10-6), Ashley Grancorvitz in the 100 hurdles (17.27 seconds), and the 800 relay team of Emma Ridgway, Gracie Ridgway, Samantha Ridway and McKenna Holm (1:57).

Stevens Point won four events. Roisin Willis won the 1,600 in 4:43.61 and the 200 in 25.64, and was the anchor leg on the 1,600 relay team with Taigan Anderson, Lilly Higgins and Anna Plautz that won in 4:10.36.

The Panthers’ 3,200 relay team of Brittany Beadles, Jenna Jones, Higgins and Sarah Hopp also won in 10:21.14.

Wisconsin Rapids snagged one win as Elise Moon won the 400 in 1:03.33 as the Raiders finished sixth in the team standings.

The Marshfield JV racked up 1,115 points, with D.C. Everest a distant second with 776.

JV winners for Marshfield were Regina Sennholz in the 100 hurdles (20.34), Solene Lonsdale in the pole vault (7-6), Ariana Smith in the long jump (14-2), Jordana Meissner in the discus (82-5) and Ryann Kilty in the 200 (28.95).
