LA CROSSE – The Marshfield girls basketball team saw its season come to an end with a 55-43 loss to La Crosse Central in a WIAA Division 1 regional quarterfinal Tuesday at Central High School.
Central (6-3) moves on to a regional semifinal at No. 1 seed Wisconsin Rapids (12-5) on Friday.
Marshfield finishes its season with a 7-14 record.
Danielle Minsaas had 22 points to lead Marshfield.
