MARSHFIELD – Marshfield scored five runs in the bottom of the fifth inning to turn a three-run deficit into a 5-3 victory over Hudson in a nonconference baseball game Friday at Jack Hackman Field.

Hudson led 3-0 after 4½ innings before the Tigers finally figured out Raiders’ starting pitcher McCabe, chasing him from the game.

Trey Montalvo pitched a complete game for Marshfield, shutting out the Raiders in the final three innings. She struck out three and walked two, allowing nine hits.

Nick Urban and Simon Slade each drove in two runs, and Peter Earll added an RBI in the fifth inning for the Tigers.

Logan Homolka and Parker Weik each had two hits for Marshfield (4-2).

Marshfield hosts Medford on Monday at 5 p.m. The game will be live at zaleskisports.com.
