Updated: Aug 14, 2021

MARSHFIELD - The Marshfield Bandits amateur football team has announced open tryouts to be conducted on Saturday, August 14. The tryouts are being held at Columbus Catholic high school in Marshfield and from 1-3 p.m.

Head coach, Rusevelt Johnson, says the tryouts are for any skill level. "We are looking to add on to our roster going into our third year. We are looking to add depth at every position. If you played in high school, college, or never played, we want you. We have the coaching staff to put you in the right position on this team. If you miss the game or still have love for this game, come be a Marshfield Bandit."

The Bandits, who compete in the Northern Lights Football League, qualified for the playoffs in only its second year of existence in the recently completed 2021 season with a 5-3 regular season record. Bandits games are broadcast exclusively on the Zaleski Sports broadcast network with statewide viewership giving players additional exposure and recognition.
