LAKELAND PROVES TOO MUCH FOR PACELLI BOYS HOCKEY

STEVENS POINT – Lakeland scored four-straight goals to take a commanding lead and went on to defeat Stevens Point Pacelli 11-5 in a boys hockey game Thursday at Ice Hawk Arena.
After Drew Bandy scored for the Cardinals to knot the match at 1-1 at the 10:03 mark of the first period, Lakeland (3-0) ripped off four goals in a row to take control.
Mason Zielinski scored twice, and Jacob Hasler and Michael Benjamin added goals in the third period for Cardinals, who fall to 2-2 this season.
Cooper Fink had a hat trick, and J.J. Albee had a goal and three assists for Lakeland.
Pacelli plays at Chequamegon/Phillips on Saturday at 1 p.m.
