GREENWOOD SURVIVES COLBY ON THE ROAD
SPORTSDESK - The Greenwood Indians boys basketball team got a game high 26 from Westin Schmitz to get by Colby 58-55. Colby got 17 points from Roman Schmitt and 11 from Richard Streveler in the loss.
The Greenwood win puts them in sole possession of third place at 2-1, Colby slides to fourth place at 2-2. Both teams look up at Neillsville and Spencer in with perfect 4-0 Cloverbelt East marks. Neillsville easily got past Loyal on Tuesday night and Spencer pounded Gilman.
Next up for Greenwood is a home game against Spencer on Thursday, December 19th. Colby visits Loyal on Friday, December 20th.
