GREENWOOD/LOYAL SOFTBALL EARNS NONCONFERENCE ROAD WIN AT STANLEY-BOYD

STANLEY – Greenwood/Loyal pushed across five runs in the second inning and never looked back on its way to a 10-4 win over Stanley-Boyd in a nonconference softball game Tuesday.
Kaitlyn Lindner earned the win with a complete game for the Greenhounds (7-3), striking out four and walking two. She also scored twice and had an RBI offensively.
Gracie North was 4-for-5 with four RBIs, and Kayla Bremmer went 3-for-3 with a double, an RBI and three runs scored to pace the Greenwood/Loyal offense.
Greenwood/Loyal hosts Spencer at Loyal High School on Friday at 5 p.m.
