AUBURNDALE – Edgar rallied after a first set loss to defeat Auburndale 3-1 in a Marawood Conference South Division volleyball match Tuesday at Auburndale High School.


Edgar lost the first set 25-11, before rallying to win the next three 25-19, 25-20, 25-20. Both teams are now 1-1 in the Marawood South.


Josie Ertl had 11 kills and seven digs, Ashlyn Grimm had 20 assists, five kills and eight digs, and Nicole Marth had nine assists and eight digs for Auburndale.


Gracie Krings added five kills and Maggie Baltus had a team-high nine digs for the Eagles.


Edgar statistics were not provided.


Auburndale hosts a nonconference triangular against Elcho and Owen-Withee on Thursday starting at 5 p.m.
