EDGAR GIRLS BASKETBALL ROLLS PAST NORTHLAND PINES

EAGLE RIVER – The Edgar girls basketball team dominated Northland Pines from start to finish to win the championship game of the Northland Pines Holiday Tournament on Thursday, 67-29.
Edgar ran out to a 36-14 lead by halftime and outscored the Eagles by 16 in the second half to finish off the victory.
Makayla Wirkus had 17 points, Reagan Borchardt added 14, and Malia Hoesly had 13 for Edgar, which is now 7-4 this season.
Edgar hosts Auburndale for a Marawood Conference South Division game Tuesday.
