EAU CLAIRE – Eau Claire North outscored Wisconsin Rapids 7-1 over the last two periods and defeated the Raiders 10-4 in a nonconference boys hockey game between undefeated teams Tuesday at Hobbs Ice Arena.
Jalen Pescal had a hat trick for Eau Claire North, which improves to 5-0 this season.
Carson Gunderson scored twice and Josh Dekarske added a goal as Wisconsin Rapids (3-1) played to a 3-3 tie after the first period.
From there, North took over, scoring three times in the second period and four times in the third to win going away.
Dekarske scored Rapids’ other goal in the second period.
Wisconsin Rapids plays a Wisconsin Valley Conference game at Stevens Point on Thursday at 7 p.m.
