The Tigers were able to draw event in the 41st minute on a goal from Madison Leick. The Royals outshot the Tigers 10-3 but were unable to find the winner in the second half.
Head coach Jim Wendells was pleased with his team's performances on Saturday. "We got off to an impressive start of our season. St Mary's is a quality team and (I'm) proud of how we competed. Duellman had a hard hit shot that was too much for their (Wrightstown's) goalie. Both teams battled to end resulting in a tie."
